The Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Raja Gopal Sunkara stated that colourful paintings depicting the life of the Tamlians during the Sangam period will be drawn across the Corporation.

The walls of the Coimbatore Corporation were first decorated with colourful paintings on the walls of the Central Zonal Office depicting the life of the ancient Tamils during the Sangam period.

These were colourful paintings depicting agriculture, animal husbandry, pottery, Sanskrit, musical instruments, basket weaving etc.
Similarly, various depictions of the Tamil culture will be painted on the walls across the Corporation added the Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner.
