Government bus overruns median and avoids a head-on collision with car on Ukkadam - Selvapuram road


A government bus from source Perur on the way to Ukkadam met crashed into a median on the Ukkadam- Selvapuram road this morning. It has been reported that this bus driver did so in a bid to avoid a head-on collision with a car.



The Selvapuram to Ukkadam road which was laid to decongest traffic in the Town Hall area is used by all buses and vehicles which go to Perur. The bus ran over a road median which was placed in the middle of the road. Miraculously, no one sustained any injuries.
