Joint Council of Associations of Coimbatore requests CM M K Stalin for a team of high-ranking officials to deal with rising pandemic in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The Joint Council of Associations of Coimbatore has requested the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to set up a Committee of senior officials to control the daily spike of Covid-19 cases in the district.
In a letter of request sent to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin, the Joint Council of Associations of Coimbatore stated, "We commend the Government of Tamil Nadu for the various measures it is taking to control the rising tide of Coronavirus in Tamil Nadu. In the last few days, more than 3,000 people in Coimbatore district have been suffering due to the virus.
In order to deal with this crisis situation, the district administration needs to strengthen itself and set up a team of top officials to function better. This is our humble opinion. We would like to inform you that the Joint Council of Associations of Coimbatore is ready to extend its full cooperation for all the steps taken by the Government of Tamil Nadu in this regard," they added.
