Coronavirus Treatment Center with 150-bed facility to be set up at Valparai Government College
Coimbatore: The Government has ordered the setting up of a Coronavirus Treatment Center at the taluk level in Valparai, since Covid infections are on the rise in Coimbatore district.
Work is underway to set up a Coronavirus Special Treatment Center with a 150-bed facility at Valparai Government College of Arts and Sciences. Tata Coffee and Tea Plantation have provided the beds needed for the center.
District Agriculture Wing Joint Secretary, Bhaskar inspected the work being carried out at the college campus and has instructed for work to be speeded up for the Centre to be used.
