Police use drones to monitor complete lockdown in Tirupur
Tirupur: The Tamil Nadu Government has been implementing a complete lockdown since May 10 to curb the second wave of Covid-19. The Government had to clamp down a strict lockdown reducing relaxations granted during the first phase of the lockdown since April 15. The Government has also announced strict measures on Monday for obtaining E-registration to step out of one's district or state for emergency events.
In line with the recent announcement, roads in major parts of Tirupur were closed on Tuesday. Police even began using drone cameras to monitor if people were stepping outside their homes unnecessarily. Also, only those who have registered in the e-registration system are being allowed to step out while those who do not have e-registrations are being sent back.
