Relatives of Covid-19 patients indulge in road roko as Remdesivir medicine was not sold at Coimbatore Government Medical College
Coimbatore: Those who came to buy the Remdesivir medicine were involved in a road roko in front of the hospital as the sale of Remdesivir drug was stopped at the Coimbatore Peelamedu Government Medical College.
Remdesivir has been distributed at Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital since last 8th. The Tamil Nadu government has announced that patients in need of medicine will be sent directly to hospitals for treatment as the number of people coming to buy Remdesivir has increased across the state. The Tamil Nadu government has taken immediate steps to distribute the medicine from tomorrow.
