Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspects Covid-19 prevention measures in all zones in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: P Kumaravel Pandian, the Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspected the ongoing Covid-19 prevention drives in various zones of Coimbatore Corporation.
The Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner visited Central Zone Ward No.81 and visited the Coronavirus Special Medical Camp set up at Variety Hall Road, CMC Colony. He advised the people in the area to get tested for Covid. Later, in the Covid control room set up at the West Zone Office, those who were living in isolation were contacted on their mobile phones and their details were uploaded to the computer. Later, he visited the Coronavirus Medical Camp set up at Coimbatore South Zone and the Coronavirus Control Room set up at the South Zone.
He advised everyone in the zones to have regular medical examinations and wear masks at all times. Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, P Kumaravel Pandian advised the public to follow social distancing and wash hands frequently with soap and water. This was followed by an inspection of the Coronavirus control room at the North Zone.
Central Zonal Assistant Commissioner Tamilchelvan, Central Zonal Health Officer Radhakrishnan, South Zonal Health Officer Loganathan and Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
