Rotary Club donates one crore rupees worth of oxygen generators to ESI Hospital in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Rotary Club Coimbatore Cyber City is partnering with ZF Windpower to provide one crore rupees worth of oxygen generator equipment at Coimbatore ESI Hospital to help provide oxygen to patients.
Rotary Club Coimbatore Cyber City executives said, "Various welfare schemes are being implemented in association with 41 Rotary Clubs in Coimbatore. Our club, on behalf of Rotary Club Coimbatore Cyber City, has teamed up with ZF Windpower to purchase oxygen generator equipment worth Rs 1 crore." All the kits will be installed at Coimbatore ESI Hospital in 15 days and will provide oxygen to the patients being treated in 80 beds.
ZF Windpower, has volunteered to help with the project under the Corporate Community Contribution (CSR) program. Initially it was planned to provide the necessary oxygen generator equipment for 20 beds. Sowendarajan researched the field situation and contacted the ESI hospital and the district administration and got information and came to know that the demand for oxygen is high. Following this it was decided to buy action generator equipment to help 80 beds at a cost of over one crore rupees instead of providing 20 beds. They said their contribution to public welfare will continue in the days to come.
