Several days later 10 flights were in operation in Coimbatore today
Coimbatore: With the number of daily flights at Coimbatore airport dropping sharply due to the spread of coronavirus infection, 10 flights are operating todayafter a gap of several days.
The 'Air Arabia' flight to Sharjah took off at 5:00 am. This is followed by flights to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi.
The last flight will leave Coimbatore at 9:55 pm today. The domestic airlines are operated by Indigo, Air India and Go Air. It is to be noted that an average of 33 flights were operated daily in Coimbatore before the pandemic, while only six flights were operated daily for the past few weeks.
