The Court has ordered two finance institutions to return money to its investors who were frauded.
Coimbatore: In a press release issued by the Coimbatore Financial Crimes Department, officials said, "Two companies in Tirupur namely, Shri Arunachaleshwarar Investment Company in Venkatesapyram, Udumalaipet and Arunachalam Investment and Finance in Kural Kuttai in Udumalaipet have been hoodwinking the public by promising extra interest if investments are made with their firms.
The companies scammed the public by not returning the interest. A complaint was filed on the company owners with the Coimbatore Financial Crimes Department in 2002. A charge sheet was filed and the case was solved in Court after the money was returned back to the investors.
Public who were cheated by the company have now been urged by police officials to file their complaints along with necessary documents supporting their claim, with the Inspector of the Financial Crimes Department before May 14.
