Inspection at the various burial grounds and electric cemetery in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: City Corporation Commissioner P Kumaravel Pandian today visited and inspected the Covid-19 prevention operations at the Government Hospital in Coimbatore.
During the investigation, Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandiay inspected the Covid-19 ward on the premises of the Coimbatore Government Hospital and ordered them to remove the vehicles parked at the campus there so that the ambulances coming to the hospital could pass without any hindrance and as a way to tackle public gathering.
He then ordered the Covid-19 testing center (swab tests) at the hospital to be shifted and continued at the St. Francis Anglo Indian Girls High School which is next to it.
The public were also advised to park their two-wheelers and four-wheelers at the nearest Government Arts College campus without parking on the hospital premises.
Following this, Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian inspected the activities of Coimbatore Corporation Southern Zone Aathupalam Electric Cemetery, Pothanur - Chettipalayam Road Corporation Electric Cemetery and West Zone Sokkambudur Corporation Electric Cemetery.
During this inspection, Central Zone Assistant Commissioner Sivasubramaniam, North Zone Assistant Commissioner Mahesh Kanagaraj, South Zone Assistant Commissioner Saravanan, Central Health Department Official Radhakrishnan, South Zone Health Officer Loganathan and other Corporation officials were present.
