Tokens of Rs.2000 for first phase of Covid-19 relief fund issued through ration shops in various parts of Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: On the first day of taking office as the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin signed a Government order to grant Rs. 4,000 to each family card holder as part of the Coronavirus Relief Fund. The first installment of Rs.2000 is to be disbursed this month and Rs. 2,000 next month.





The authorities have taken necessary steps to distribute tokens in Coimbatore on Monday to family card holders, based on which the Coronavirus relief amount will be granted. Tokens worth Rs. 2,000 are being issued in various parts of Coimbatore. Issue of tokens have been suspended in some places due to overcrowding of people for receiving tokens.
