The Shabihiya Jamaat which are present for more than 80 years in Coimbatore has agreed to use the school and marriage hall in the heart of Coimbatore for Covid-19 prevention work.

The Tariqatul Islam Shafihiyya Jamaat has agreed to make full use of the school building and the wedding hall for the Government of Tamil Nadu's Covid-19Prevention Awareness Programs, 5 Medical Camps and Clinics.
The Jamaat executives have said, " We are ready to extend all cooperation and assistance to the Tamil Nadu government's Covid-19 prevention efforts. Coimbatore District Collector can contact us anytime for any help."
The Jamaat said the decision was taken due to lack of adequate accommodation in hospitals as the second wave of the Covid-19 virus was spreading fast.
