Police inspector raises awareness against coronavirus in Valparai

Coimbatore: So far more than 70 people have been affected by the second wave of coronavirus infection in Valparai, Coimbatore district.

The health department, the revenue department, the municipality and the police are taking various measures to control this. Today partial curfew has been canceled and all shops have been allowed to open. Due to this a large number of workers have gathered in Valparai to buy goods.

The road is crowded everywhere, including the shops. As a result, with the risk of further spread of the coronavirus infection, Valparai Police Inspector Maheshwari urged the people to adhere strictly to wearing masks at the old bus stand, Gandhi statue bus stand, Stanmore junction and the new bus stand with loudspeakers. She warned that violators would be fined.
