In Coimbatore, strict restrictions have been imposed on court proceedings to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection, and yet the Court watchman died due to Covid-19.
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, strict restrictions have been imposed on court proceedings to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection. In spite of this, about 20 members of the court staff have been infected. While 10 people have returned after receiving treatment, others are still being treated.
Rajendran, who was working as a night watchman in JM 7 Court, Coimbatore had been unwell and became critically ill suddenly. He was taken to a Government Hospital but unfortunately died before receiving medical treatment. Investigations done at the hospital revealed that he had contracted Covid-19 infection and his health had deteriorated rapidly.
