Coimbatore: The Health Department has been conducting special medical camps in areas with high numbers of Covid-19 cases to identify new infections, and with Covid-19 infections rising daily in the Kinathukadavu Taluk in Coimbatore, special medical camps were conducted too.
In Kinathukadavu taluk, 30 people were tested positive on Monday and 12 people on Tuesday, which totaled upto 42 people. "Of the 529 Covid-19 patients who were undergoing treatment, 420 have been treated and discharged.
The remaining 109 patients are being treated at Pollachi and Coimbatore Government hospitals," clarified health officials. They also stated that 4192 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19, in Kinathukadavu area thus far.
