Let us instil peace and harmony on this Coimbatore Day!

Today, is a great day to celebrate for the Coimbatoreans as this year marks the 212th year since the city got elevated as District Headquarters in 1804 during the British reign.

Well before, Coimbatore attained this status in 1804, Bhavani and Dharapuram were the headquarters of this region.

Today, Coimbatore more than a city is regarded as a mini-metro. Enticing people, welcoming weather, proven and budding entrepreneurs, bustling activities, state-of-art medical centres, renowned centre for education, home of hundreds of stalwarts and much more.

Even thousand miles away from the city our fellow Coimbatoreans can be identified easily through their mannered talks, behaviour and entrepreneur skills. People of this city are well-known for their compassionate and magnanimous personality towards fellow beings.

This Coimbatore day, let's salute and pay our tribute to all the stalwarts of this city who have left an indelible mark and curated this city for what it is today. On this notable day, as Coimbatoreans let's stand as one and show our love and tribute to our city by instilling harmony and peace in our hearts.

With the city getting prepared to transform into a smart city, more accreditations awaits to get added to our city's legacy.
