Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian inspected Gandhipuram 100 feet and Crosscut Road, Gandhipuram Central Bus Stand. He fined those who did not wear the mask in public places, overcrowding on buses and violators of COVID-19 restricted imposed by TN government from today.

According to the instructions from Tamil Nadu Government, the public who move without masks will be levied a fine of Rs. 200. Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian also said that if the buses are overcrowded, both the driver and the driver would be fined a total of Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000.
He also said that a fine of Rs 5,000 has been levied since this morning. "Out of the five zones under the Corporation of Coimbatore, 2 teams per zone will be involved in enforcing the COVID-19 rules and imposing fines on violators," he said to the press.
