LIC office temporarily closed as 12 employees test positive for COVID-19 in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: The LIC office in Coimbatore was temporarily closed after 12 employees were diagnosed with coronavirus infection.

The LIC office is situated on the second floor of a complex at the Park Gate junction in Avinashi Road, Coimbatore. It was reported that one of the officers working here was diagnosed with coronavirus infection two days ago.

Following this, 55 employees were asked to undergo COVID-19 tests in the office. Of these,12 employees tested positive for coronavirus infection.

To contain the spread, the office has temporarily closed. Similarly, at Tidel Park in Vilankurichi, 5 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection.
