AIADMK candidate in Coimbatore North constituency, Amman Arjunan intensely campaigned to garner votes
Coimbatore: AIADMK candidate in Coimbatore North constituency Amman Arjunan intensely campaigned across the constituency, on Thursday. He campaigned in various places including Ganapathy, Sanganur Road and Ganapathy Market for garnering support for the AIADMK party.
"If DMK comes to power, the level of disorder in Coimbatore will be unleashed, which will include land grabbing and many others unlawful acts. But for the last 10 years, the AIADMK regime has ruled well, under strict law and order. No religious clashes have taken place. Also, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K Palaniswami is a simple leader who is easily accessible to the public," he added.
Amman Arjunan highlighted that Coimbatore district had seen vast growth in five years owing to S P Velumani who he felt has been diligently carrying out various developmental activities. "The AIADMK government has completed the Avarampalayam Railway Overpass, Ratnapura Bridge and the Yogurt Itteri Railway Ground Bridge in Coimbatore to solve traffic congestion. This is why I was able to bring so many development projects when I was the MLA for Coimbatore South constituency. Ukkadam was upgraded under the Valangulam Smart City project," he added.
He also said that the northern constituencies will also undertake many more development projects. During the campaign, Selvakumar, Kamala Raju, Venkatesh, Thankaraj and Prabhakaran were also present.
