A complaint has been lodged with the District Magistrate on behalf of TMMK and MMK seeking action against the BJP candidate of the Coimbatore South constituency.
Coimbatore: A complaint has been lodged with the District Magistrate on behalf of Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazagham (TMMK) and Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (MMK) seeking action against Vanathi Srinivasan today.

A complaint was lodged with the Coimbatore District Collector today, March 1st, under the leadership of E Ahmad Kabir, District Chairman of MMK seeking action against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Coimbatore South Constituency Vanathi Srinivasan who wants to turn Coimbatore into a riot ground.
Yesterday, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath visited Coimbatore to support Coimbatore South constituency candidate Vanathi Srinivasan. He was accompanied by the BJP party members and Hindu Munnani members. They forced the shopowners to close for business in Oppanakara Street too.
The members of the parties also triggered communal violence and used weapons to frighten the public. Because of this yesterday, there were many clashes and panic in Coimbatore city.

So, the parties TMMK and MMK filed a complaint on BJP Coimbatore South Candidate Vanathi Srinivasan citing communal violence as the issue. They lodged the complaint at the District Collector Office in Coimbatore.
