'Stalin portrays AIADMK as anti-Islamist party to gain votes', alleges CM Edappadi Palanisamy in Coimbatore

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has accused Stalin of misrepresenting the AIADMK as an anti-Islamist party, ahead of the 2021 polls.

Coimbatore: Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has arrived in Coimbatore to introduce the NDA alliance candidates contesting from the 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore district at the CODISSIA ground today.

He campaigned for votes in favour of 'Lotus' and 'Two leaf' polling symbols. CM Edappadi Palanisamy assured at the gathering that BJP Candidate for Coimbatore South Vanathi Srinivasan would act as an ambassador between the Central and State governments post-election.

Further speaking, Edappadi K Palanisamy said, "Stalin thinks he can win all the 234 constituencies. No matter what MK Stalin thinks in his daydreams, AIADMK cannot be destroyed. He had complained to the governor that we have done corrupt activities with the tender, two years ago. Stalin is also criticizing the scientific mind of the Prime Minister. DMK is trying to brainwash the people and get votes, people should explore and vote as if they were voting for themselves."

Edappadi Palanisamy also said that people like Dayanidhi Maran, who spoke in a demeaning way about the Prime Minister and the late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa should be eliminated with this election.

The CM also criticised DMK leader Stalin for not condemning people like Dindigul Leoni for making such distasteful remarks on women.

At the gathering today, he also alleged that Stalin is defaming the AIADMK as an anti-Islamic party, to get votes in return. Edappadi Palanisamy assured that the AIADMK government has given a number of plans and schemes for the Islamists and that the AIADMK regime will continue to ensure the safety of women.
