Multispeciality General Hospital in Singanallur among the highlights of MNM Singanallur Candidate Dr Mahendran’s manifesto

MNM General Secretary Dr Mahendran and President Kamal Haasan launched the election manifesto for Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: Singanallur Assembly constituency Makkal Needhi Maiam candidate Mahendran said that Makkal Narpani Mandram will be open for 24-hour and said that it will be set up in all the wards in his constituency.



Makkal Needhi Maiam President Kamal Haasan released a unique election manifesto for Singanallur today.



Later Dr Mahendran, the candidate for the Singanallur Assembly constituency said that "I am pleased to release the election statement today. The manifesto read that 24 hours working Makkal Narpani Mandram will be set up in all wards. An industrial park for all small businesses will be set up. Necessary steps will be taken to improve the quality of life of women.

Steps will be taken to improve infrastructure facilities across the constituency. More emphasis will be given to safeguard the health of the public. A new government hospital will be built in the Singanallur constituency. A food processing Industrial unit will be established to develop agriculture.

Today we have released the election manifesto with various features including the provision of playgrounds for children and cycling space. We sincerely hope these announcements are well received by the public," he said.



Later at a press conference, Kamal Haasan,President of Makkal Needhi Maiam said, "Politics is not my profession, it is my duty. If I criticize an incident that happened during the campaign in the Coimbatore South constituency it is like lowering my standard. So there is no option to talk about it. The word 'tukkada' is not an unspeakable word according to me."

He also said, "I am aware of the problems faced by small businesses and cottage industries. I will take action to solve their problems. Industrial parks for small businesses will be set up. I will implement an exclusive program specifically for financial assistance."

Kamal Haasan and Dr R Mahendran are currently campaigning across Coimbatore to seek support for 2021 TN Elections.
