Coimbatore: Pollachi Jayaraman, the Deputy Speaker and AIADMK's candidate for the Pollachi Assembly constituency today engaged in the intense vote-gathering rally.

Today, he visited the Sambamurthy Nagar in the 3rd and 4th wards and went door-to-door in areas including Police Quarters and Alagammal Nagar to meet with the public and collect votes for the 'Two Leaf' symbol.
Later, in an interview with reporters, he said, "The Kongu Cultural Center Library in Pollachi will be set up permanently to promote the culture of the Kongu country. The library will help students studying for IAS and IPS. The library has the history books of the soldiers who lived on the soil including Theeran Chinnamalai."
He also revealed that Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has given permission for the export of Nira drinks. "Steps would be taken to preserve the drink and export it to various states in India and abroad. We will also ensure to market the soft drink globally after the assembly elections," he guaranteed to the public.
Pollachi Jayaraman, who is contesting to extend his term, was given a warm welcome by women in the area. He is running for the MLA position from Pollachi Constituency in the upcoming 2021 TN Assembly elections, on behalf of AIADMK.
