Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath was received warmly by BJP party at the airport. He has been touring across Coimbatore today to seek support for Vanathi Srinivasan
Coimbatore: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Coimbatore to gather support for BJP Candidate Vanathi Srinivasan, who is contesting from Coimbatore South constituency in 2021 TN elections.
On behalf of the NDA alliance between BJP and AIADMK, the CM Yogi Adityanath spoke at a public gathering in Thermutti to vouch for BJP's win in the elections.
Vanathi Srinivasan welcomed Yogi Adityanath and said, "I sincerely welcome the Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath who has come to Tamilnadu for the first time. Around 40% of the temples in India are situated in Tamil Nadu. Being the testimony of culture and tradition, Tamil Nadu people have made thousands of sacrifices for the Ram Temple."
She continued praises that Yogi Adityanath is a simple man behind the saffron clothes. He has brought industrial development and safety for women in Uttar Pradesh during his tenure."This will be a period without disturbing the religious faith. Everyone's religious belief must be safeguarded. We are members of saffron, unlike others who pretend." Vanathi said.
She alsomentioned about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plans to create a defence corridor in Coimbatore. "Various people will be benefited from this and we expect to generate job opportunities. BJP party is a party that respects women, that is why they have given a National position for a normal woman like me."
Taking over the stage, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, "As someone who comes from the holy state of Ram, I thank the Tamil people for your contribution to Ayodhya. The development of Coimbatore including establishments of educational institutions is possible only by certain people. The PM has plans to bring an Army-based manufacturing plant here. Finance Minister has been sincerely striving to make it possible. We are looking at employing Indian youth on a larger scale."
Yogi Adityanath, who has been showing support to the candidates at the election states of Tamilnadu, Kerala, West Bengal and Assam has been advocating the plans of the NDA alliance. He said, "AIADMK and BJP in Tamilnadu are moving towards true development. Modi has given multiple schemes for the people of TN, like multiple housing schemes, Gas connections, School education, College Education etc. The alliance is working like a double engine taking Tamil Nadu in a way to development."
CM Yogi Adityanath also made a point on developmental plans for TN. He said, "There are a lot of cities in Tamil Nadu that are a part of the Amruth project and Coimbatore is one among them. Coimbatore is being given priority as Smart City works are also undertaken here."
He also urged the people to support BJP-AIADMK in the elections for women safety. "People of TamilNadu give respect and importance to women and AIADMK and BJP are always supporting them. Many schemes for girl children are introduced by our regime. As a public, you should make Vanathi Srinivasan win this election."
Other important plans like multi-level parking systems, providing free vaccine to 130 crore people in India, employment generation was mentioned in Yogi Adityanath's speech.
At the public meeting, BJP party's Deputy State Secretary Karupu Muruganantham, District General Secretary Ramesh, District Head Nandhakumar, media relations Sabari Kishore and many others were present.
On arriving at the Coimbatore International Airport today morning, Yogi Adityanath was given a traditional welcome by BJP members headed by Vanathi Srinivasan. After landing, Yogi Adityanath visited the Puliyakulam Vinayakar Temple and sought blessings. He then took part in a two-wheeler procession which began from Puliyakulam and ended near Thermutti.
