Women will not have security if DMK-Congress alliance comes to power - Yogi Adityanath in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today visited Coimbatore to campaign in support of BJP candidate Vanathi Srinivasan, who is contesting from Coimbatore South constituency. He spoke at the public gathering in Thermutti to seek support for BJP and emphasized on the need for women safety in TN.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath landed in Coimbatore today and began his campaign with blessings from Vinayagar temple in the Puliakulam area of Coimbatore and rallied for Vanathi Srinivasan.

More than a thousand BJP and Hindu Munnani volunteers took part in the rally from the Puliakulam area to Thermutti in a two-wheeler. A public meeting on behalf of the BJP was held there.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, "BJP candidate Vanathi Srinivasan will win by a large margin. Uttar Pradesh is the holy land of Rama and that Tamil Nadu has provided Rs 120 crore for the construction of the Ram Temple to be built in UP. Thank you. The Prime Minister had chosen Coimbatore to set up the Defense Corridor, which would speak volumes for an independent India. Plenty of job opportunities will abound when this Defense corridor will be set up."
He also added, "Elections are to be held in 5 states across India. I have been campaigning in West Bengal, Aslam and Kerala. In the coming elections, the BJP will definitely rule in Assam and West Bengal. Moreover, the National Democratic Alliance will regain power in Tamil Nadu. Only the AIADMK-BJP alliance will bring about a new change in Tamil Nadu. More funds have been allocated to Tamil Nadu for various projects. If the BJP-AIADMK alliance wins the coming elections, we will bring the projects to Tamil Nadu."

CM Yogi Adityanath also spoke about women's safety in Tamil Nadu. "Tamil Nadu is a state that gives utmost importance to women. Security for women can only be provided by the AIADMK and BJP governments. If the DMK-Congress alliance comes to power on this soil, women will not have security and those who are against women should ignore the DMK-Congress alliance which is working against women," he accused the other alliance.
He also mentioned that due to coronavirus infection, Prime Minister's good plans for the country was restricted. His speech garnered cheers from the public who gathered.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the public and congratulated the people of Coimbatore. Through BJP National Youth Wing Vice President AB Muruganantham's translation, he interacted with the public.
Ahead of the public meeting, heavy police security was put in place at the Thermutti area and police had instructed people in the area to close shops in the area for security purposes.
