Makkal Needhi Maiam candidate Pankaj Surabhi is contesting from the Kavundampalayam Constituency in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: MNM Candidate Pankaj Surabhi campaigned at the Rishiram Nagar area in Subramaniampalayam, Coimbatore yesterday. During the campaign, she received an overwhelming response from women who gave her a floral tribute.
Women in the area have placed a request to remove the Tasmac shops from Rishiram Nagar. Following this, Pankaj Surabhi reminded the people about Kamal Haasan's election promise of closing more than 3,000 liquor shops near the residential areas. He also assured them that he will resign from his post if the promise is not delivered.
Pankaj Surabhi told, "I am receiving great response from the public, especially from women, it is overwhelming and supportive." He also confidently said that MNM's win is almost confirmed.
Makkal Needhi Maiam candidate Pankaj Surabhi is walking around 40 km on a daily basis to campaign for the upcoming elections. This effort has highly impressed the voters of the Kavundampalayam constituency. Pankaj has also been receiving support from students and from the women community.
