Arumugam from Communist Party of India (CPI) is contesting in the Valparai assembly constituency in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: DMK Deputy Secretary Adi Dravidar Welfare Committee and Leadership Party Spokesperson Thippampatti Aruchamy today campaigned in Valparai to support CPI candidate Arumugam who is contesting in the upcoming polls.

He began his campaign near the town Old Bus Stand, the Valparai Gandhi statue near the New Bus Stand and Nallakathu, Sirukundra Estate.

Thippampatti Aruchamy then rallied for the CPI party, assuring that workers will get a pay hike, cancellation of additional tax and monthly income in hand.
Aruchamy then urged the people to vote for the "Ears of corn and sickle" symbol in the upcoming elections to make candidate Arumugam the MLA and for DMK Chief MK Stalin to become the CM of Tamilnadu.
