DMK candidate Kurichi Prabhakaran campaigns in Kinathukkadavu West Union
Coimbatore: The city's Kinathukkadavu DMK candidate, Kurichi Prabhakaran actively campaigned for votes in Kinathukkadavu town and West Union. He is contesting on behalf of the Mathasarbatra Murpokku Kootani and campaigned at the old bus stand in Kinathukkadavu Manikandapuram and Vadaputhur this morning to garner support with alliance party executives.
Kurichi Prabhakaran also visited the villages of Solavampalayam, Chikkalampalayam, Singaiyanpudur and Immidipalayam in the Kinnathukadavu West Union and engaged in intensive campaigning.
"AIADMK MLA Yeddyurappa, who was the MLA for five years in Kinnathukadavu constituency, did not do anything for the people. The AIADMK government has been cheating the people of Kinathukadavu by not providing them with basic amenities like drinking water, toilets and roads. As soon as I am voted to power, my first task is to provide for these basic necessities of the people of Kinathukadavu constituency," promised Kurichi Prabhakaran. He reiterated that he would fulfill all the plans stated in the election manifesto of DMK leader M K Stalin.
