Former minister Pongalur Palanisamy campaigned for Communist party's Valparai constituency candidate Arumugam to garner votes.
Coimbatore: Arumugam, the Communist Party's candidate contesting on behalf of the DMK alliance in the Valparai assembly constituency in Coimbatore district has been intensely campaigning in the area.

Former DMK minister Pongalur Palanisamy also campaigned alongside to support him in view of Arumugam having been a member of the Valparai Assembly constituency previously. "Steps will be taken as soon as the DMK comes to power to ensure human-animal conflict is controlled and estate workers' issues too will be resolved with basic amenities provided," he added.

Pongalur Palanisamy requested the public to make Valparai assembly constituency a stronghold of the DMK and ensure Arumugam's win with a huge margin. The DMK's City Secretary, Palpandi and party allies were also present during the campaign.
