He was campaigning in the Ganapathy Managar area of Coimbatore yesterdaywhen he unexpectedly fell into a ditch on the road. This caused a fracture in his leg. Thus his leg was swollen.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was treated by doctors. Doctors have advised him to rest for a few days. Thus he is not involved in the campaign today. Other AIADMK executives have been involved in the campaign.
