Every vote that goes to SP Velumani goes to BJP and Narendra Modi - Congress MP Jothimani in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Lok Sabha member Jothimani campaigned in support of DMK candidate Karthikeya Sivasenapathy who is contesting in the Thondamuthur constituency.

She said "BJP seeks to implement the new education policy, if we implement it, our children will not be able to study.

The new education policy implements the old caste based education system with modern methods. The children of farmers should farm. Children of weavers have to weave. The child of a labourer must work for wages. The shoemaker's children should only sew shoes. This is the ideology of the RSS.

Modi is eager to implement such a new education policy and the AIADMK government plans to bring this into Tamil Nadu through the back door.

Although I disagree with the late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, I can say for sure that the AIADMK will never be a slave to the BJP party like now.

But today two ministers are doing the job of bringing BJP into Tamil Nadu through the back door. The first is SP Velumani contesting from Thondamuthur constituency and the other is Thangamani contesting from Kumarapalayam constituency. Both Velumani and Thangamani are betraying Tamil Nadu and the AIADMK party members.

People should keep in mind that every vote cast for Velumani in the Thondamuthur constituency is a vote for the BJP party and Narendra Modi. That will be a vote against our children's education and future. People need to remember that the vote for AIADMK is against reservation, education and employment, which is the resource of TamilNadu.

I urge the people to vote for Karthikeya Sivasenapathy, who is contesting from Thondamuthur constituency under the Rising Sun symbol to prevent the poison BJP from entering Tamil Nadu."
