Coimbatore: As the date for the much-awaited state assembly elections is nearing, the Election Commission is working in full swing to ensure a peaceful and honest process.
To ensure that there are no difficulties for voters to cast their votes at the polling stations, the election officials across the constituencies are inspecting the poll booths for basic facilities.
In Coimbatore, the general Election Observer Gopal Meena, who is in charge of Thondamuthur and Kinathukadavu constituencies, inspected the respective polling stations today.
He checked on the basic facilities and security details at Kinathukadavu Primary School and Government High School Polling Stations.
He also said that additional polling stations are set up near the existing polling station with more than 1200 voters.
