Veerakeralam Housing Board problem will be addressed immediately, assures Coimbatore North DMK candidate VM Shanmugasundaram

DMK candidate for Coimbatore North constituency, VM Shanmugasundaram met with the public and conducted door-to-door campaigns for votes.

Coimbatore: Vadavalli Shanmugasundaram, the DMK candidate for Coimbatore North constituency on behalf of Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani, was spotted campaigning fiercely in the Veerakeralam area.

During the campaign, he alleged that, "The AIADMK party has ruled Tamilnadu for the last 10 years and has provided nothing but free Dhoti, Saree, tumbler, tiffin box, hot box and a plate from the looted money to gain voters. Today, Tamil Nadu itself is in a state of begging. Rs 5 lakh crore loan is not enough for the government treasury, they are giving us plates to beg instead. This is the money that they looted from our taxes."

He also spoke about the COVID-19 relief fund provided by the ruling government. "During the Covid-19 period last year when everyone was suffering for 100 days without work and without income, they gave a thousand rupees to us and then opened the liquor stores and pubs to confiscate the money. The AIADMK government is acting against people," VM Shanmugasundaram added.

In continuation, he also said, "I am a familiar person in Veerakeralam, the one child who is always near you. I have already served the people as the Chairman of Vadavalli Municipality for 20 years. Given the Coimbatore work for the North constituency, I will solve the prolonging housing board problems in the area once DMK leader MK Stalin becomes the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu."

VM Shanmugasundaram also mentioned that he will act immediately to resolve the land acquiring issues and steps to recover them for the people. "Our future Chief Minister MK Stalin has declared me as a candidate to serve the people of the Coimbatore North constituency. Vote for the Rising Sun symbol, the candidate who is contesting for you," he said.

Many representatives from alliance parties were present during the campaign, including Mani, Bagdavachalam, Circle Secretary Babu, committee member Duraisamy, MDMK Selvaraj, Ramesh and Tamil Marai.
