District Collector organises special camp to deal with tense polling booths in Tirupur

Tamilnadu will be holding the state general assembly elections on April 6th 2021.


Tirupur: In the 8 assembly constituencies, around 552 election booths have been identified as tense zones by the Tirupur District administration.

The Tirupur District Electoral Officer / District Collector Dr K Vijayakarthikeyan IAS, today participated in a meeting held at the Tirupur District Collectorate and presided over the training for election booth officers who are appointed to monitor the tense polling stations. 201 bank and central government employees took part in this training camp.

A guide on how to handle tense polling stations was also distributed to the officers as a part of the meeting.
