PM Modi to visit Tirupur on March 30, helipad to be set up in Dharapuram
Tirupur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Tirupur on March 30 to campaign for the AIADMK-BJP front in the upcoming election. He is said to speak in support of candidate L Murugan on a grand platform Dharapuram. Work to set up a helipad for Modi's arrival is in full swing.
In Dharapuram, preparations have been intensified for this upcoming public meeting which is to be attended by PM Narendra Modi on March 30 since yesterday.
Tamil Nadu BJP President L Murugan is contesting for the 2021 elections from Dharapuram constituency in Tirupur District. The public meeting for L Murugan will be attended by PM Modi and it will be held in Maruti Nagar, Udumalai Road, Dharapuram on March 30 from 1:00 PM.
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy is also said to participate and show support to the candidate. For this meeting, the selected area of 80 acres is being cleaned and the work for setting up a grand pavilion is in full swing.
Candidate L Murugan, the TN state BJP President, General Secretary Selvakumar, Ex MP Karvendhan from AIADMK, City Secretary Kamaraj and members of the parties will be present.
A helipad will be set up so that the helicopters of the leaders can be parked in Dharapuram. The pathway from the helipad to the stage will have a newly constructed tar road. Parking facilities will also be arranged for in four places.
