Coimbatore: All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) President and actor R Sarathkumar took part in the campaigns organised in Coimbatore today to supportMakkal Needhi Maiam's Singanallur Constituency candidate Dr Mahendran and other MNM candidates.
Later, Dr Mahendran and R Sarathkumar met with the press. Sarathkumar said, "We have taken the steps towards victory and we have the trust in people who will make us win. Some have commented that once Kamal Haasan wins from Coimbatore South, he will not visit his constituency again. This happened when I contested from Tenkasi. I find this remark hilarious because anyone who wishes to work and serve the people can do it from anywhere, regardless of the place."
Sarathkumar also mentioned the recent Income Tax raids that are being conducted in his speech. "IT raids during election time is like targeting someone," he said.
R Sarathkumar has been campaigning today across Coimbatore to support the candidates of MNM-led alliance.
