New voters overjoyed as Voter ID cards dispatched directly to homes
Coimbatore: New voters in the city who were added to the voter list this year are overjoyed that the new Voter ID cards will be delivered directly to their homes by post.
1,33,000 new voter cards were sent to 10 constituencies in Coimbatore district on behalf of the Election Commission. The Chief Post Office dispatched the voter cards to the respective delivery post offices from where 90 percent of the cards have been sent to the new voters' homes.
