Dravidar Kazhagam leader K Veeramani campaigns in Nilgiris

"DMK leader has not taken 'Vel' due to elections, but has taken it up as a sword:" K Veeramani

The Nilgiris: Dravidar Kazhagam leader K Veeramani participated in a campaign at Coonoor constituency in the Nilgiris to garner support for DMK candidate, K Ramachandran.

"Protest is one of the ideologies of the Dravidian parties and hence they are focused in opposing BJP's entry into Tamil Nadu. The DMK leader has not taken 'Vel' owing to elections but has taken it up as a sword," stated K Veeramani during his campaign.

He added that recent model polls suggest that AIADMK has support from the Western districts but it was guaranteed that AIADMK will lose in all the constituencies. "Since Congress is democratic in voicing their opinions, the inter-party clashes can be seen from the outside, but this exists even in AIADMK where people leaving the party are sure that AIADMK will not even recover its deposit amount. Ministers too are aware of this," opined K Veeramani.

"The Central Government has ensured medicine as a course for education is an impossible course to study for the common man owing to its policies. And now they have brought in exams for arts courses, thus making it difficult for a common man to even secure a clerk job," lamented K Veeramani.

He was of the opinion that Tamilians were being cheated out of Central Government jobs since only North Indians are being hired in majority at even the Central Government offices in Tamil Nadu. "Lives of people in Tamil Nadu will be developed only if DMK comes to power. Further, Stalin has not been involved in any form of corruption and is fighting for the welfare of the Tamil people. Only DMK can usher in a dawn for the people in Tamil Nadu," emphasised K Veeramani.
