Sabrimala a social activist from Dindigul filed her nomination tk contest at the polls in Pollachi.
Coimbatore: Sabarimala from Dindigul is a social activist and the president of PVK (Pen Vidthalai Katchi). She earlier filed her nominations to contest in the Pollachi Assembly Constituency.
But unfortunately her nomination was rejected by the election officials. Post this Sabarimala met with the press at the DMK party office in Pollachi today.
During the press meet, Sabarimala stated that " My nomination rejection was planned by the election officials and such problematic ruling of AIADMK should be abolished.
There is no safety for women and girl children in Tamilnadu. There will be no solutions to all these issues if there is no safety for women.
So I have decided to extend my support to DMK candidate Dr Varadharajan and will campaign for him furthermore."
Sabarimala then said that she is going to campaign and assuring the people that a separate court will be formed to deal with sexual assault cases along with seperate police stations.
