More than 200 Congressmen, including a former Congress councillor, join AIADMK in Pollachi
Coimbatore: More than 200 Congress party executives, including Pollachi city Congress committee chairman and former city councilor RM Arul and district minority wing leader, joined the AIADMK today.
Pollachi Assembly constituency candidate and Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman and AIADMK Secretary Krishnakumar welcomed the new members with a shawl.
They thanked them for joining the AIADMK and said that those who have been in charge for many years in the Congress party have no respect and there is no democracy in the party. They said they joined AIADMK because even the volunteers are given respectable posts in the party."
