DMK MP Trichy Siva campaigns in support DMK Kavundampalayam constituency candidate Payya R Krishnan
Coimbatore: Payya (A) R. Krishnan, who is contesting as the DMK candidate for the Mathasarbatra Murpokku Kootani in the Coimbatore West District, Kavundampalayam Assembly constituency in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Election, has been supported by the DMK's Policy Outreach Secretary and MP Trichy Siva. They campaigned in the Kavundampalayam area and campaigned for votes for the 'rising sun' symbol.
He said, "At present, the central and state governments are deceiving us. The best example is raising petrol and diesel prices, raising bus fares and milk prices, and insecurity for women. And the candidate you have got is Payya (A) R. Krishnan who is always one among the people and will work for your betterment. He provided essential items to the people of the entire constituency during the Coronavirus period. Supporting such a good man and voting for our 'rising sun' and making him win by a huge margin of votes."
Following this, candidate Payya (A) R. Krishnan campaigned in various places in Prabhu Nagar, Anna Nagar, Peons Colony, Cheran Nagar, Balan Nagar and SP Nagar in the 9th and 5th wards of the Kavundampalayam area. Women of the area demanded a solution for a patta issue, drinking water problem, road and sewerage facilities in many places. He promised to do all this as soon as the party government was formed and they won the assembly elections.
During the campaign, Jawahar and Sarath Vignesh, members of the District Responsibility Committee in the Kavundampalayam area, along with Mohammad Rahim and Amitabh Kannan from the 5th Ward, Ashok Nagar Lower Division, organised a rally of more than 100 DMK men, women and youth in the area who joined the DMK in presence of Payya R Krishnan.

Mathiyalagan, Nagaraj, District Secretaries Dhanraj, Naga Murali Prakash, District Representative Sasi Babu And Arasur Bhupathi, Singai Ravichandran, District Team Organizers Dr. Ganesh, Shanmugam, Michael, Malathi and MDMK Sampath were present. CPM Duraisamy, Perumal, KMDK Prakash, Anand, Kongu Seeni , Radhakrishnan, CBI Karthik, Jeeva, Congress Mahesh, Vadivelu, Shanthi, Coalition party executives, party executives and volunteers were present in large numbers.
