DMK's manifesto is useless currency - Deputy CM O. Panneerselvam campaigns in Tirupur

Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam election campaign in Tirupur

Coimbatore: AIADMK election campaign rally was held at Union Mill Road, Tirupur district. Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam campaigned for votes for the AIADMK candidates in the forthcoming assembly elections.

Tirupur North AIADMK candidate Vijayakumar, Tirupur South constituency Gunasekaran, Kangayam Assembly constituency Ramalingam and Palladam constituency MSM Anandan were supported by OPS at a public meeting held at Union Mill Road.

Speaking there, he said that Jayalalithaa, who turned AIADMK into a steel fort, had created every project for the lower strata of the society. He promised to build concrete houses for all the homeless by 2023. He said Thanthai Periyar's dream of man and women being equal is now realised when the woman rides the two-wheeler while the man sits pillion in the free two-wheeler.

The factories which were Rs 45,000 crore during the DMK rule have now been set up to the tune of Rs 6,85,000 crore. Both DMK and AIADMK have given election statements. He said that the DMK election manifesto is like a counterfeit note while the AIADMK election manifesto is valid and said under the current AIADMK regime, people are very happy. There is no breach in law and order and AIADMK is in favor of minorities and they will all be allowed to go to temples.

He said, "DMK will be the opposition and we will be the ruling party. We are all accustomed to love. We pay for the biryani and parotta we eat but DMK will only cause commotion. When it comes to power outages, Arcot Veerasami is the one who comes to our mind as electricity and the way he could not cope with the power shortage."
