Meanwhile, DMK's Kurichi Prabhakaran is involved in a high-stakes election campaign. During the election campaign at the 100th ward, Kurichi Prabhakaran was disturbed by AIADMK party members on 17 th March.
A complaint regarding this issue was filed on behalf of both sides and it is said that a summon was given regarding this issue to both the parties.
Meanwhile, yesterday an attack was made on the DMK party members by AIADMK members at the DMK party office. In this DMK members Mettur Kutty, Saravanan and Ravichandran were injured and are now receiving treatment at the Coimbatore government hospital. Police officials today conducted an investigation regarding this incident today.
At the same time DMK advocates today filed a petition with Coimbatore District Returning Officer and Collector Rajamani about the attacks and false accusations made on DMK members and the lack of action taken against the AIADMK members.
DMK's East District Election Secretary Ravichandran, Singanallur constituency secretary Krishnamoorthy, West District Organiser Sivakumar and other party officials including Vijayaragavan, Ibrahim, Marudhupandi and many other DMK advocates were present during the submission of petition.
