Burglars confess that they bought guns online: Police shocked
Coimbatore: Police arrested and investigating the culprits arrested in a burglary cases. Police were shocked when they claimed to have bought air pistol guns online. A few days ago, Ravi, 33, of Chennai and two others were charged with extorting money from a labourer by shooting him in the Peelamedu police area.
From them, a 4.55mm air pistol and a knife were confiscated. Also police are on the lookout for three others. The incident where burglars moving around the city with air guns for extorting money has increased. Police said an investigation revealed that they bought 'air pistols' online. Police said that this was a huge issue and they are investigating if it is true. They said if the air pistol was purchased online action will be taken to prevent such sales.
