Arumugam and his supporters and party members campaigned on vehicles by distributing pamphlets urging the people to vote for the CPI party in Valparai.
Coimbatore: Under the DMK led Madhasarbatra Murpoku Kootani, Arumugam from Communist Party of India was given the opportunity to contest in the Valparai constituency.
Since Sunday is a holiday for labourers at the estates, Arumugam today met with them and requested their support.

Arumugam along with his supporters and party members campaigned in Valparai today from 9 am in the morning. They visited the areas of Anna Nagar, Kakkan Colony, New Market area and other areas on foot to gain voters. He then visited the people who came after their prayers at both Holy Saint Church and CSI Church and requested them to vote for the DMK alliance.

Members of the alliance parties including DMK, Congress and VCK took part in the campaign in Valparai to gain support for Arumugam in the upcoming assembly elections.
