The Nilgiris: Nilgiris District Coonoor DMK Assembly candidate and Ex-Minister Ilithurai Ramachandran campaigned for votes in front of mosques.

Ilithurai Ramachandran is contesting for the Coonoor Assembly in the Nilgiris district on behalf of the DMK. He has been actively campaigning for votes in various villages in areas like Coonoor and Kotagiri.
He then campaigned in front a big mosque in Coonoor and speaking at the time he said he would urge for a revision of the Citizenship Amendment Act and anti-Islamic laws. DMK city secretary M Ramasamy, chief general body member K Selvam and state minority deputy organizer Anwar Khan were among those present during the campaign.
