Tirupur: DMK MP Kanimozhi campaigns in Tirupur. In the Vellakovil area of Tirupur district, DMK MP Kanimozhi campaigned in support of DMK's Kangayam assembly candidate MP Saminathan.
She said, "Road facilities in these areas were improved when Saminathan was the minister. The chief minister will only lay 8 lane roads as he will get more commissions in it. No industrialist is willing to invest in Tamil Nadu by relying on the Chief Minister who cheated youth who won in Jallikkattu by giving gold plated copper coins instead of gold coins. This is the regime that shot 13 lives in Thoothukudi when they raised a question. They died the father and duo of Sathankulam died of suffocation and no one knows how many women have been threatened so far in the Pollachi incident."
She pointed out that, "When a female IPS officer is harassed by a superior officer, another officer stopped and threatened the female officer. The woman went to Chennai to lodge a complaint as the IPS officer was supported by the DMK, allied parties and several organizations. The woman IPS officer also received death threats. The officer who committed the misconduct was suspended only after the court reprimanded him. If this is the case for a top female officer think what kind of protection can ordinary women have for themselves. It was Karunanidhi who waived agricultural loans and gave free electricity. He is not a farmer, he is a good human being and that is what is important. The Chief Minister accused Stalin of being a 'chameleon'but see who supported CAA two months back is now campaigning against it. Who is chameleon here?"
She added saying," CM accused Stalin of having an agenda, but it is clear that CM's policy is to protect his CM seat by falling in anyone's feet for it. The Chief Minister has if he was a snake or lizard to crawl for the CM seat, since he has given you a choice it is up to you to decide."
