Tamilnadu Civil Engineers Council Association New Executives Inauguration and Anniversary Meeting in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The inauguration ceremony of new office bearers of Tamilnadu Civil Engineers Council Association was held in Coimbatore.
The Coimbatore Civil Engineers Association (COCENA) Association Annual function was held at a private auditorium in Avarampalayam. New executives were appointed. Ramakrishnan was elected as the president, Sekar as the secretary, Masilamani as the treasurer, Sevvel as the vice president, Muthamil Selvan as the deputy secretary and Ramachandran as the deputy treasurer.
KCP Chandra Prakash, Secretary, Coimbatore Corporation Contractors' Association, addressed the gathering as a special guest. Addressing the gathering, he said, “By forming a Council, civil engineers can work in coordination and make great progress. In other associations only businessmen are members. But he said it was a matter of pride to be an employee and a member at COCENA.
Similarly, many civil engineering graduates are workers. They should be given opportunities to take up contract work up to 10 lakh rupees. Each can create up to 100 new contactors. LPS license will be obtained on behalf of the Corporation Contractors Association and necessary assistance will be provided. We should not be looking at what the association has done to us. We have to do something for the association"
The function was attended by Panneer Selvam, District President, Builders Association of India, Palanichamy, President, Builders and Contractors Association, Udayakumar, President, Coimbatore Contractors Association, Michael, Deputy Secretary, Selvaraj and many others.
