Coimbatore: Flying squad seize Rs 9 lakh from RS Puram area during inspection. Vehicle inspection is in full swing to enforce the Code of Conduct for Elections in the Thondamuthur Assembly constituency.
During the search, a team led by Pushpa Devi conducted vehicle inspection in the flying squad of the Thondamuthur assembly constituency in the RS Puram area yesterdayand found Rs 9,65,152 in the car without proper documents. Following this, the money was seized and handed over to Senthil Arasan, the election officer of the Thondamuthur assembly constituency.
He then sent it to the Coimbatore South Treasury. He was accompanied by the Assistant Election Officer of Thondamuthur Assembly constituency and the Perur Thasildhar Muthukumar.
